Our implant team is comprised of two general dentists
and a periodontist. The convenience of having your entire implant team
in one location is immeasurable, allowing for instant communication among
the doctors and you to help ensure your implant treatment succeeds. We
also work very closely with referring general dentists.
We've been an innovator in the implant field, providing implant surgery
and restorations for more than twenty-five years. Many dentists refer
their patients to us for the implant surgery portion of the procedure.
These patients then return to their dentist to continue the restorative
portion of their treatment.
Eat all those delicious foods that are difficult
to chew. Smile without concern about your teeth. Talk and laugh without
the fear of missing teeth being noticed or dentures becoming loose or
falling out.
Dental implants will never decay, crack or need a root canal.
Dental implants have the potential of lasting a lifetime.
Millions of people have implants. Dr. Lingle
began placing implants in 1981. Because of the success those people are
enjoying, the awareness of implants as an effective dental treatment is
increasing every year.
Many people think dental implants are new. They're
not! In fact, like so many modern-day medical practices, implantology
goes back 4,000 years to the Egyptians. Many of the mummies found in King
Tut's tomb had crude dental implants.
Twenty-first century technology and dental science are now perfecting
the implant process. New materials continue to be developed for greater
compatibility between bone, tissue, and the implant; new, stronger implant
designs; new and more efficient surgical techniques; sterilization procedures,
and even dental appliances have all been improved dramatically over the
past four decades.
Unfortunately, some patients may lose all
of their natural teeth due to periodontal disease or tooth decay. These
patients won't have to endure the insecurity of dentures that slip. With
implant-stabilized dentures, no longer will they have to carefully select
foods that don't require any chewing. Patients can enjoy the confidence
to eat foods they previously avoided. Dentures can be supported with
implants. Removal allows for regular cleaning.
Modern techniques of bone and soft tissue
reconstruction can help patients achieve the kind of treatment result
that they should expect. Often we are asked, “Am I a candidate for
implants.” We can confidently say that we can help you achieve your
goals.
Rebuilding these tissues destroyed by disease or accident can be done
in a variety of ways in a predictable fashion. Our surgical team is experienced
in providing the latest in bone and soft tissue reconstructive surgery.
Your implant evaluation will include an analysis of the supporting tissues.
